ART IN AUGUST WORKSHOP

A mixed media & photo encaustic class series for both beginners and experienced artists.

AUGUST 5 - 10, 2025

Includes 4 hours of instruction per day plus studio work time.

• Day 1 (Tuesday): Gelli Plate printing

• Day 2 (Wednesday): Collage Techniques

• Day 3 (Thursday): Book-Making plus Collage

• Day 4 (Friday): Photography Intensive (location and studio, includes live model)

• Day 5 (Saturday): Encaustic Basics with Photography

• Day 6 (Sunday): Advanced Techniques of Photo Encaustic

Daily instruction with Leah from 10am-2pm followed by studio work time from 2-6pm.

Investment: $1200 for 6 days or $300 drop-in day rate

Housing for 2 people available upon request for an additional fee.

Portfolio Development & Photography Mentorships

A long-term, 10-month learning experience. In-person or via Zoom! Work one-on-one to develop a cohesive, refined body of work using a variety of mixed media and encaustic techniques. The Portfolio Development Mentorship is great for beginners and experienced artists looking to refine their portfolio. Price and availability upon request.

STUDIO SPACE RENTAL

Want to work in encaustics but need a workspace? Rentals in my personal studio are available… rent by the hour, day, or month!
